The last two decades have witnessed substantial efforts in developing
new wireless technologies that can provide higher data rates and better quality of service. Among the proposed technologies, there are two promising ones, namely multiple-input multiple-output space-time processing (MIMO-STP) and multi-hop relaying. Main topics to be covered:
