Topics for this 14th Annual IMTC are related to measurement science, to measurement instrumentation and technology and to measurement applications. Conference scope will include but not be restricted to the following topics:

Abstracts (in English, 300 words) should be submitted via mail or courier ONLY, including a summary of the accomplishments and significance of the contribution together with a reference list. List the author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), address(es) and telephone number(s). Submit abstracts to arrive no later than Friday, October 7, 1996, to:

Papers for IMTC/97 will be selected from abstracts by the Technical Program Committee, co-chaired by Prof. Emil Petriu, University of Ottawa, Canada and by Dr. Peter Filipski, NRC, Ottawa, Canada. Authors of accepted papers will be notified in December, 1996. Authors whose papers are accepted will be invited to submit their papers for consideration for the special IMTC/97 issue of the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation & Measurement to be published after the conference.
