Nominating a Member for IEEE Canada Major Award

Back: IEEE Canada > Awards > Major Awards for Members

The Nomination Procedure for the following awards uses the OpenWater online awards portal. Each nomination requires two endorsements from different people. Anyone (including non-members) can nominate but only IEEE members (from any Region) can endorse. If an award has only one single nomination, this nominee can be awarded the award, as long as the nominee meets the criteria for that award. Members of the IEEE Canada Awards Committee are not eligible to be nominators, nominees or endorser of nominees for any IEEE Canada Award. Members of the IEEE Canada ExCom are not eligible to be nominators, nominees or endorsers of nominees for any IEEE Canada Award. Self-nominations for IEEE Canada awards will not be accepted. Nominations for IEEE Canada awards submitted after the deadline for submission for any particular award will not be accepted.

Note: Nominees for achievement and service awards must be Canadian IEEE members, with the exception of the R.H. Tanner Industry Leadership Award which is open.

Note that CVs will not be accepted. Incomplete nomination and endorsement forms can not be submitted and limits are enforced on input. Late submissions must be resubmitted for consideration the following year.
